The majority of our anesthetic care services are offered at Northern Westchester Hospital in Mount Kisco, New York. Our anesthesia group shares in Northern Westchester Hospital’s achievement as a Planetree Designated Hospital of Distinction. We are also an active member of the Lifewings training program that aims to optimize communication and patient safety. View Directory ERAS-Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS) ERAS-Enhanced Recovery After Surgery is a program designed by the anesthesia team and your surgeon to have you recover as quickly as possible from surgery as well as have a timely, uneventful discharge. With ERAS, there are no real changes for the patient to prepare for surgery, except to stress that we would like them in optimal physical condition for surgery. I.E.: Weight reduction, exercise, diet. Your anesthetic care is now designed to have you awake, alert, ambulating and eating much quicker. Your recovery phase will be monitored closely by anesthesia staff, surgical staff, nursing and physical therapy, all to ensure our goal of rapid recovery and discharge.
